Prices checked against Hetzner Docs: Price Adjustment 15 June 2026, Hetzner Docs: AX server line. Monthly, excluding VAT and IPv4.
Since June 15, 2026, Hetzner sells the AX102 only as fixed configurations. Servers you already rent keep their terms. Any new AX102 you order, including a replacement or a second box, is priced from the new table.

| AX102-3 | AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 128 GB DDR5 ECC, 2 × 1.92 TB NVMe Datacenter Edition | Listed in Hetzner's AX docs, but not in the June 15 price table | — | — |
In USD: AX102-1: $302.10 + $149 setup ($11,024.60 over 36 months). AX102-2: $642.10 + $319 setup ($23,434.60 over 36 months). Source: Hetzner Docs: Price Adjustment 15 June 2026.
Check ECC before you compare
Hetzner lists the AX102-1 with 128 GB DDR5, without ECC. ECC memory comes with the AX102-2 (192 GB DDR5 ECC) and AX102-3 (128 GB DDR5 ECC). AX102-3 is listed in Hetzner's AX docs, but not in the June 15 price table. If you run a database or anything else that needs ECC, compare against an ECC configuration, not the cheapest row (Hetzner AX line).

Does this hit you?
- You run AX102s and aren't changing them: no. Hetzner says currently rented servers are not affected (announcement).
- You're adding capacity, replacing a box or building a staging twin: yes, at the June prices.
- You'd change RAM or disks on an existing AX102: ask Hetzner first. Its documented repricing triggers cover cloud servers.
- Your users are in North America: Hetzner's dedicated price table lists Falkenstein, Nuremberg and Helsinki only.
Alternatives, priced over 36 months
Alternatives for this exact configuration are priced on live bids, not estimates. Send your invoice or spec and the desk returns 3+ normalized counter-quotes for the same hardware, term and region within one business day.
When to stay, when to switch
Stay when your fleet is stable and you aren't adding or resizing servers: the prices you already have are worth keeping. Stay, too, when -LTD stock is available for the configuration you need, or when your servers rely on free internal traffic to the rest of your Hetzner fleet.
Switch when you're adding capacity and would pay the new prices anyway, when you need ECC memory on a line where only the higher configuration has it, or when your users are in North America and the servers would otherwise sit in Germany or Finland.

Questions
What does a new Hetzner AX102 cost now?
The AX102-1 is €257.30 a month plus a €129 setup fee, or $302.10 plus $149, excluding VAT and IPv4. The AX102-1-LTD is €157.30 plus €39 setup while stock lasts.
Did Hetzner raise prices for servers I already rent?
Not in the June 15, 2026 round. Hetzner says currently rented servers are not affected and existing contracts keep their terms; the change applies to new orders and cloud rescales. Its earlier April 1, 2026 increase applied to both new orders and existing products.
Does rescaling a Hetzner cloud server move it to the new prices?
Yes. Hetzner lists rescaling (up or down), moving a server to a project billed in another currency, and restoring a deleted server as actions that switch a cloud server to current pricing. Rebuilding a server or moving it to a project with the same currency does not.
What is a Hetzner -LTD server?
A limited tier Hetzner offers when it can buy hardware at a much lower cost, often from cancellations. It comes with the same service and support as a standard server, but it is available only while stock lasts.
Can I still order a custom Hetzner configuration?
Not from the standard catalogue. Hetzner now sells fixed configurations with -1, -2 and -3 suffixes instead of custom RAM and storage, and says custom builds can still be requested through its Custom Solutions service.
What does RentServers.com charge?
Nothing to buyers. Participating providers pay our desk a placement commission when a buyer we introduce signs. It never changes their price or how we rank them.
