If you rent an OVHcloud Advance, Game, Scale or High Grade server from Gen 2024 or Gen 2026, your first renewal on or after October 1, 2026 is at the new price. The base server renews at the price a new customer pays; only RAM and storage you already have installed get a smaller increase. The largest change in OVHcloud's tables is the GAME-1 Gen 2026, up 100%.

When to stay, when to switch
Stay when your servers depend on each other over OVHcloud's private network (vRack) and moving one means moving all of them; when you rely on a certification or the included DDoS protection that an alternative would charge for; or when the extra cost over the term is smaller than the engineering time a migration would take.
Switch when the server is a self-contained workload (an app node, a game server, a build box), when the renewal is weeks away and the increase is large, or when you are adding servers anyway and the new ones would be priced at the new rates.
Either way, price the move before your renewal date, not after.

When does OVHcloud's increase reach a server I already rent?
On its first renewal date on or after October 1, 2026. New orders have paid the new configuration prices since August 11, 2026, and the new RAM and storage option prices since July 1, 2026.
Do existing OVHcloud customers get a smaller increase?
Only on installed RAM and storage options: +20% RAM and +10% storage on Gen 2024, +40% and +15% on Gen 2026. The base server renews at the same price a new customer pays.
Which OVHcloud servers are not affected?
OVHcloud says Kimsufi, So you Start, Rise, and generations before Gen 2024 keep their prices.
Can I keep my current OVHcloud price?
OVHcloud says nothing changes while a commitment is running, and that a prepaid subscription (the full period paid upfront) locks in the current rate. Check the terms on offer for your server before your renewal date.
What does RentServers.com charge?
