Who the B300 is for
Teams serving or training very large models where memory per GPU decides how many GPUs a model needs. With 288 GB per GPU, an 8-GPU node holds about 2.3 TB of HBM, enough for large mixture-of-experts models and long-context inference on one node.
Software support follows the B200: confirm your CUDA, driver and framework versions support Blackwell Ultra before a long reservation.
Pricing and supply
GetDeploying shows a reserved median of $6.49 and an on-demand median of $8.99 per GPU-hour (October 28, 2026), with only 15 providers listing it. With so few listings, single-provider changes move the median, so read week-to-week moves with care.
Longer terms price well below on demand. Ask every bidder for 12, 24 and 36 month rates and the delivery date in writing.
What to check in a B300 quote
- Liquid or air cooling, and the rack density the facility will commit to.
- Fabric: InfiniBand or Ethernet bandwidth per GPU for multi-node jobs.
- Delivery and acceptance-test dates, and credits if they slip.
- Whether the price holds for the full term or is index-linked.
Rent or buy an B300?
Buying one runs about $400,000 to $520,000 (new, estimate, October 25, 2026), or about $16,278 a month over 36 months including hosting. Renting the same 8 GPUs costs about $37,902 a month reserved or $52,502 on demand around the clock, so owning beats on-demand rental above roughly 31% utilization.

Bare metal or cloud for B300
B300 is mostly sold as reserved bare metal, with multi-year contract listings well below on-demand rates. On-demand supply is thin, so on-demand medians move sharply week to week.
| System | Purchase price | Owned, per month | Rent reserved, per month | Rent on demand 24/7, per month | Breakeven use vs on demand | Payback vs on demand |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8x B300 (HGX) | $400,000 to $520,000 (new, estimate, October 25, 2026) | $16,278 | $37,902 | $52,502 | 31% | 9 months |
Rental: provider medians for 8 GPUs x 730 hours, week of October 19, 2026, GetDeploying, GPU rental price history, CC BY 4.0. Purchase: estimates from public reseller price lists and market reports, dated per row; no dealer quote. Owned per month: purchase price over 36 months plus hosting at about $250 per kW per month all-in (published 2026 retail colocation pricing, an estimate) at the system's maximum power. Excludes network, spares, staff, financing and resale value.

B300 questions
How much does it cost to rent a B300?
On GetDeploying's tracker (October 28, 2026): median $6.49 per GPU-hour reserved and $8.99 on demand. An 8-GPU node at the reserved median is about $37,900 a month.
B300 or B200?
Pick the B300 when memory per GPU is the limit, for example very large models or long context. If your model fits comfortably in 180 GB per GPU, B200 capacity is easier to find and usually cheaper.
