Managed AI Hosting is a paid service sold and supported by Wells Software Consulting LLC. It is separate from the free RentServers.com referral service. RentServers referral commissions are not part of it.

How it works

Pricing
Every figure is a starting price ("from"). Setup is usually $1,500 to $5,000 depending on scope. The quote confirms the price. Nothing is charged on this site.

Included
- Setup. One-time deployment of the chatbot, assistant, or document Q&A tool, scoped on the quote.
- Starter. Hosting, software updates, backups, monitoring, and 2 support hours a month.
- Growth. Everything in Starter, plus more users, custom features, and 5 support hours a month.
- Private GPU. The open-source model running on a dedicated GPU we operate, so the data stays on that server. The monthly plan price is quoted from $2,500.
Billed separately
- AI API usage. Billed at our cost plus 15%, or not billed by us if the tool uses your own API key.
- Private GPU hardware. The GPU cost is passed through, on top of the Private GPU plan price.
- Extra support time. Hours past the included monthly amount are not in the plan price. We quote that work before we do it.
Minimum term and support
- 3-month minimum. Monthly fees are billed in advance. After the minimum, either of us can end the service with 30 days' notice.
- Next-business-day response. There is no 24/7 on-call. Starter includes 2 support hours a month. Growth includes 5. Private GPU hours are on the quote.
- Cash refund if we do not deliver. Any prepaid amount for a service we do not deliver is refunded in cash, not as a credit. Draft terms, pending review.
When the data has to stay on your server
You own the documents, prompts, and other content you put into the service. Starter and Growth can call an AI API (billed at our cost plus 15%, or on your own API key), which means prompts leave our server for that API.
Private GPU is the plan for keeping that data on the machine we run. We deploy an open-source model on a dedicated GPU, so the documents stay on that server. The plan starts at $2,500 a month and is quoted for the job. The GPU cost is passed through on top of that price. We do not resell the GPU, and we are not a partner or reseller of the company that provides it.

What is Managed AI Hosting?
Wells Software Consulting LLC deploys and runs a small business's AI chatbot, internal assistant, or document Q&A tool on cloud infrastructure it manages. You pay Wells Software Consulting LLC for that work. It is not a server rental and not a referral.
Who is it for?
Small businesses that want a chatbot, an internal assistant, or a way to ask questions of their own documents, and that do not want to run the servers themselves.
How is this different from the free referral desk?
The referral desk is free. You contract with and pay the provider, and some providers pay RentServers a referral commission that is never added to the quote. Managed AI Hosting is a separate paid service. You contract with and pay Wells Software Consulting LLC. Referral commissions are not part of it.
What do the monthly plans include?
Starter, from $400 a month, includes hosting, updates, backups, monitoring, and 2 support hours a month. Growth, from $1,200 a month, includes everything in Starter, plus more users, custom features, and 5 support hours a month. Setup is a separate one-time fee, from $1,500.
What is billed separately?
AI API usage is billed at our cost plus 15%, unless you use your own API key. On Private GPU, the GPU cost is passed through on top of the plan price. Work beyond the included support hours is not part of the monthly price; we quote it before we do it.
What does Private GPU mean for my data?
Private GPU is quoted from $2,500 a month. We run an open-source model on a dedicated GPU so your data stays on that server, instead of being sent to a third-party AI API. The GPU cost is passed through. You still own your data.
Is there a minimum term, and how do I cancel?
The minimum term is 3 months. Monthly fees are billed in advance. After the minimum, either of us can end the service with 30 days' notice.
What if you don't deliver something I already paid for?
You get a cash refund of the prepaid amount for the service we did not deliver. The remedy is cash, not a credit. The terms page is a draft and is marked pending review.
What support can I expect?
We respond on the next business day. There is no 24/7 on-call. Starter includes 2 support hours a month and Growth includes 5. Private GPU support hours are stated on the quote.
Do you resell cloud or GPU capacity?
No. The fee is for deploying and running your AI tool. We do not resell a provider's capacity, and we are not a partner or reseller of any cloud provider. API usage, and the GPU on Private GPU, are passed through separately and labeled as such.
