Who you contract with
These terms are an agreement between you and Wells Software Consulting LLC, 1 E Erie St, Suite 525-2098, Chicago, IL 60611 ("we", "us"), for Private LLM Hosting ordered on RentServers.com. They take effect when you pay at checkout or sign an order form. Contact: hello@rentservers.com.
The service
We lease a dedicated, single-tenant server in a US data center from an infrastructure provider, install the open-weight model you choose, expose it through an OpenAI-compatible endpoint behind TLS and run it: monitoring, operating system and driver updates, model updates on request, and support by email on business days. Updates run in the maintenance window, Sundays 02:00 to 06:00 UTC. One server has no failover; for redundancy, order a second server.
Order and delivery
After your payment clears, an engineer confirms the exact server, its location and the delivery date by email within one business day. Card and Link payments clear at checkout; ACH bank debits take up to 4 business days; invoices paid in USDC clear when the payment settles. If we cannot deliver a matching server, or you decline the delivery date we offer, we cancel the order and refund everything you paid, in full, to your original payment method.
Prices, billing and taxes
Prices are in US dollars and billed monthly in advance through Stripe, by card, Link or ACH bank debit, or by emailed invoice payable in USDC, by card or by ACH, starting on the order date. Month-to-month plans include a one-time $499 setup fee; 12-month terms have none. Prices exclude sales and similar taxes, which are added where they apply. We give at least 30 days' notice by email of a price change on a month-to-month plan. Prices on a 12, 24 or 36-month term are fixed for that term.
Term and cancellation
Month-to-month plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time by emailing hello@rentservers.com; service continues to the end of the paid month and is not refunded for part of a month. A 12, 24 or 36-month term, signed on an Order Form, is a commitment to that many monthly payments; it continues month-to-month after that unless you cancel. You may end a term early by paying the remaining months of the term.
Service level
We target 99.5% monthly availability of your endpoint, excluding the maintenance window, emergency security fixes we notify you about, and outages you cause. If monthly availability falls below 99.5%, you get a credit of 10% of that month's fee; below 99.0%, 25%. Ask for a credit within 30 days after the month ends. Credits are applied to your next invoice and are the sole remedy for unavailability.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service for cryptocurrency mining, sending spam, attacking or scanning other systems, hosting malware, or anything unlawful. You are responsible for complying with the license of the model you run (for example, the Llama license) and for what you send to and do with your endpoint. We may suspend the service to stop a violation and will tell you why.
Your data
Prompts and outputs are processed on your server only. We do not use them to train models, and we do not keep their content beyond what you configure. We keep operational metrics (uptime, latency, resource use) to run the service. Within 7 days after the service ends, we delete the model, your data and logs from the server before returning it to the provider. Ask before the end date if you want an export of your configuration or fine-tuned weights.
Late payment
If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and we email you. If an invoice is still unpaid 14 days after its due date, we may suspend the service; after 30 days, we may end it under the cancellation rules above.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period. A fixed term keeps the terms in effect when it started, unless a change is required by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
